What time were you on the bridge? I passed through on my way north about 10:00 AM and then on my way back home about 11:15. It was a fantastic day in SoCal and one of the reasons there are ten million people living here.

I had the afternoon shift.I passed through about 1p on my way south, and 3p on the way back.

And it was a truly great day, aside from the driver who got pissed off because I yelled a warning when he cut me off; I guess he thought I should just let him hit me. But even a schmuck like that can’t ruin a day like this.

Spring in the Ozarks brings us very inconsistent weather. One day it will be gorgeous, and the next miserable. For some reason, a lot of the misery falls on weekends. I say that to say that there are times that I’m jealous of you guys out on the west coast. Not enough to put up with the other stuff you have to, but sometimes just a little!

Enjoy it for me. Our day was cool and damp again!

What, you wouldn’t let a little 4.4 earthquake stop you, would you? Don’t be too jealous. We’ve had a cold (for us) and wet (for just about anyone) winter this year, with scattered days like this.

You’re there for the smog? I’d forgotten how bad it is down there.

Blame the lousy photographer or maybe the crapalicious camera, because the view towards those snow covered mountains was clear as could be.

  4. Tres nice in the SF Bay Area this week as well!
