Whenever a stolen bike is reported here or on the Bike Index website, the listings are displayed on this page, and automatically posted to the BikinginLA Twitter and Facebook accounts. In addition, the information is uploaded to stolen.bikeindex.org, a global clearinghouse for stolen bike data, making it instantly available to any bike shop, pawn shop, police department or private buyer using the Bike Index database.
