I had the Sears bike model that preceded the one in the ad, circa 1969. The one thing that was Not Good about that bike aside from the weight was buying tubes for the inevitable flat tires riding gravel county roads in West Tennessee. This was before ISO standardized tube and tire sizes, and literally the only place to get tubes to fit the different sized front and rear wheels was the Sears catalog.
