    Seems like the death of Ryan Currie could’ve been mitigated by the use of a bike helmet. The newspaper report states he wasn’t wearing one. Not very safe behavior for the father of four.

      In this case, you may be right. We have not heard yet if he suffered a head injury, but relatively slow-speed falls like this appears to be are exactly what bike helmets are designed to protect against.
